Adams Creek Reservoir Transmission Main

Introduction

This summer the City of Kelowna is installing the final phase of a dedicated water transmission main from Okanagan Lake to Adams Reservoir.  The transmission main will be constructed along Hedmen Court, south of Chute Lake Road up to Adams Reservoir.  

A new distribution water main will also be constructed on Quilchena Drive from Chute Lake Road to Providence Ave.  Other minor work outside this area will be required in order to complete this project and achieve the required dedicated water transmission main.

Background

This project is the second phase of the Cedar Creek Pump Station which was completed in 2009.
