Priority issues

Residents identified a wide range of issues as the most important issue facing Kelowna. Concerns surrounding growth management (18.7%) topped the list in 2008, followed closely by traffic congestion (18.1%) and affordable housing (15.8%). Other commonly mentioned issues were transportation infrastructure (9.8%) which included a host of issues like left turn signals on Highway 97, a second crossing, the Okanagan bypass, improving traffic flow etc.
