The City conducts Citizen Surveys to gauge public satisfaction with municipal programs and services, and to gain an insight into citizens’ rankings of service priorities.
Educational OutreachThe City’s sustainable education program encourages students and residents to foster respect for the environment through interactive learning and hands-on adventures in watershed and airshed health.
The Transportation Demand Management raises awareness amongst residents about the various effects that vehicles have on our environment, our health and our community. Offering a variety of activities and interactive programs, residents are encouraged to get active, be healthy and protect the region by incorporating active transportation into daily routines.

Council Meeting BroadcastCouncil meetings, held on Mondays at 1:30 p.m., are broadcast live (audio only) on the internet via www.castanet.net/kelownacouncil. Meetings are rebroadcast on Shaw Cable 11 on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11 a.m. and on Sundays at 7 p.m.
