Design & Construction Services
 Design & Construction Services manages all capital projects that the City carries out. These projects include all City infrastructure such as roads, bridges, buildings, parks, and water, wastewater and drainage systems.
Staff performs or arranges the necessary engineering work and schedule the project construction to be carried out by in-house construction crews or by private contractors.
The Department is comprised of six branches:

- Utilities & Buildings Project Management

Park & Public Space Projects The Park & Public Space Projects branch is responsible for the design and project management of parks projects and public landscape performed by staff, consultants and contractors.
Road, Drainage & Solid Waste Projects
The Road & Drainage & Solid Waste branch is responsible for the design and project management of road, bridge & drainage projects performed by staff, consultants and contractors.
The Roads Construction Branch coordinates, schedules and constructs transportation related projects in which the City is involved.

The Utility Construction Branch manages the staff and resources required to coordinate, schedule and construct water and wastewater projects in which the City is involved.
