Ski Hosts

Winter travelling is made a lot easier with the help of ski hosts who operate the Okanagan Ski Host program. A cooperative effort involving the Kelowna International Airport and the Big White, Silver Star, and Apex ski resorts, the program is a Canadian first that’s been incredibly well received by resorts and their customers. Specially-trained hosts meet skiers on certain flights, help them organize their baggage, and direct them to specific ground transportation shuttles. Because the hosts have toured the mountains and are privy to daily weather and snow reports, they can also share information about resort facilities and ski conditions.
