Construction and Development Projects

YLW is continually evolving to meet our region's changing demands for air service. Currently we offer 62 daily non-stop flights to destinations in Canada, US and Mexico. Passengers are provided with access to over 375 destinations world-wide with one connection from YLW.

We generate a significant economic impact in BC with ongoing operations contributing over 2,730 jobs and $610 million in total economic output and act as an economic driver for resource development in the Thompson Okanagan.  In 2010 we served 1.38 million passengers to and from our wonderful region. We've been growing alongside the region we are proud to serve, and we continue to look to the future. 

To better serve our growing passenger numbers and expand our air service destinations, we've got some big development projects taking place between 2011 and 2016.  Some you will notice and others you won't but together they will provide the overall effect to better serve you.
