CLEAN AIR DAY - June 8th
FREE Transit all day on Wednesday June 8, 2011!
Tell the bus driver “It’s Clean Air Day!” and take a ride on the bus for FREE anywhere in the Central Okanagan on June 8.
Breakfast Bus
From 7:00-9:00am on June 8th, green commuters can enjoy a FREE breakfast on their way to work or school. If you are taking the bus, riding your bike, walking, skateboarding or even carpooling, you can stop by the breakfast bus for a delicious baked good from Bliss Bakery and coffee from one of the great coffe sponsors. The three breakfast buses located at:
- Orchard Park Transit Station - Coffee from Percs
- Queensway Transit Station - Coffee from the Bean Scene
- Westbank Transit Exchange - Coffee from Starbucks
Attention Cyclists!
Kelowna Cycle will be on site at the Queensway Station offering free tune ups and cycling information. Be sure to bring your bike for a tune up and grab a free breakfast!

2011 Poster Contest Winner!
Daylath Mendis from Casorso Elementary is the winner of the 2011 Clean Air Day Poster Contest! Daylath's amazing drawing has been turned into a poster that will promote Clean Air Day in sll schools throughout the Central Okanagan. She has also won a new bike from Kelowna Cycle! Congratulations Daylath!
