The third week of November marks the second annual Carpool Week in the Central Okanagan. Thanks to sponsorship from Carpool.ca, everyone who pledges to carpool at least once before November 27 has a chance to win prizes, including $300 in free fuel, a $200 Safeway gift certificate, an iPod Nano, a $50 Cineplex gift card and a $25 Starbucks card.

Fun, interactive and informative booths will be located at major Kelowna employers throughout the week to promote carpooling, encourage employees to Pledge to Pool and award additional prizes to participants.

Carpool.ca is an initiative that reflects the City of Kelowna’s environmental stewardship and commitment to providing opportunities for citizens to reduce their impact on the environment.
