Cycling in Kelowna
Cycling Network
Kelowna has the most extensive bike path network in Canada for a city it's size. The network continues to grow and improve year after year with the addition of new bike lanes and pathways city wide. Check out the Bicycle Route Map.
With over 300 kilometres of bike lanes, multi use paths and park pathways, cyclists can easily travel all over the city.
Bike racks on transit buses provide extensive cycling options and flexability. Add to that the many bike racks and bike lockers that are popping up around the city, and you’ve got one bike-friendly community.
The City works dilligently to plan and build new multi-use off-street pathways, such as the Rails with Trails project, as well as maintain existing paths. Did you know that bike lanes are swept more than ten times per year?
