Cycling in Kelowna

Cycling Network

Kelowna has the most extensive bike path network in Canada for a city it's size. For a quick snapshot of cycling routes, check out the Bicycle Route Map.pdf icon

With over 240 kilometres of bike lanes, cyclists can travel all over the city easily.

Bike racks on transit external_link_12.png buses provide extensive cycling options and flexability. Add to that the many bike racks and bike lockers that are popping up around the city, and you’ve got one bike-friendly community.

The City works dilligently to plan and build new multi-use off-street pathways, such as the Rails with Trails project, as well as maintain existing paths. Did you know that bike lanes are swept more than ten times per year?
